About the Role
The Bakery Prep role supports daily operations by preparing sourdough and non-baked food items and assisting with ingredient preparation for production. This role plays a key part in ensuring the bakery is ready for service and that next-day production is set up for success.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Prepare food for sandwiches, soups, and other non-baked items as require
- Prepare ingredients for cookies and other baked goods
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation
Production Support
- Assist with ingredient prep for baking (as directed)
- Support end-of-day and next-day preparation
Evening Prep (Key Function)
- Prepare items required for the following day
- Support bread proofing and overnight preparation processes
Cleanliness & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Support the Front Staff in closing activities and clean up
Coordination
- Take direction from Operations Manager (primary)
- Collaborate with Head Baker on production-related prep

Schedule
This position shifts are usually:
- Monday 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm
- Tuesday to Friday 5:30-8:30 (evening shift)
Wage
The wage for this position starts at $18.25-$20 + shared tips based on experience
